Visa for egypatians residant in Doha
Do Egyptians (who live in Qatar with resident Permits) need a prior visa from the Malaysian embassy in Qatar or they can obtain it upon arrival in Kuala Lampur airport?

Thanks and best regards

Driving License Conversion
Same issue with the driving licence conversion; can the Embassy update or explain what is being done on this matter. I’m been driving in Malaysia, and many part of the worlds including in Singapore with only valid Malaysian Driving License, why I can’t convert my driving licence as the Singaporean does. To my sadness, myself and one of my Singaporean working colleague who is only 24years old which is about 20 yrs younger to me is allowed to convert the driving licence to immediately and on the other hand I was instructed to go for the class or need to pass the driving test before for the conversion. What a shame, is that mean Malaysian with more than 20 years driving experience is still not up to the par with young Singaporean drivers? Or our driving licence issuance system in Malaysia is sub-standard? Very upset.

wanted to come home to Malaysia-Immediately.
I am working in hotel, in holiday villa,Doha. I already make all preparations to go home to Malaysia. I already buy ticket home. and follow all procedure with the company, and agreed/prepared to pay to all to their requirement. But now, the owner of the hotel, refuse to sign our(me and my roommate) resignations applications. I already wrote a letter to Embassy, but no reply, whatelse should I do, need help/advise. TQ

Conversion of Driving License
The Malaysian Embassy should look seriously into the driving license conversion. Malaysian drivers are disciplined and defensive drivers which makes them very safe drivers in this region. There are many Europeans who can easily convert their licenses and why not us? How seriously this issue is looked upon reflects the seriousness of Malaysian Government into the welfare of Malaysians living abroad.

Driving License
Our nation representative should do more as they are not doing enough. Look into UAE, a Singaporean with Singapore driving license can easily convert their license to UAE license, whereas, we Malaysain can't, I am sure many Malaysians are driving in Singapore road everyday with only valid Malaysia issued license. Check out at causeway, you will know it.

Conversion of Driving License
I hope the Malaysian Embassy will lobby, and continue to lobby, for M'sian driving licenses to be converted into Qatari Licenses. Many of the Western countries can convert their licenses, but not ours. These Western countries have many cases of drunken driving that are still happening. Our M'sian drivers are surely not as bad as them. Secondly, it is not fair. A Britsh guy who has 1 year driving experience can convert, but not a M'sian who has 20 years experience? Please lobby for it. M'sia is a member of OIC and held the Chair for OIC in the past. I am sure Malaysia Boleh. M'sian Embassy Doha must persebvere and not give up.
