i am concerned about my friend
what is happening in Libya is something that is going the wrong way. Every citizen has the right to object and protest but to kill them insanely is a crime and the world should react to this massacre.
My heart goes out to all those families who have lost loved ones. I pray that the innocent and rightful citizens of Libya achieve what is to be trully theirs.

I am deeply concerned about the safety of my dear friend Ibrahim Aboharba in Tripoli. He has not responded to any of my emails nor ym messages. no luck via mobile either. How best to get any information on them. I need to know if he and family are safe in Tripoli.

Protest in Libya
To: Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali Al-Hanesh, Libyan Ambassador To Malaysia

Protests in Libya

Mr Ahmad Mohamed Ali

Assalamualaikum

As you would know the situation in Libya has become extraordinary.

President Gaddafi and his regime has ordered the killing of innocent people, who are being massacred in the hundreds.

You would also be aware that the Libyan Ambassador to the Arab League, the Libyan Ambassador to China, and the Libyan Ambassador to India have all resigned.

This is the right thing to do. President Gaddafi's actions are absolutely unjustifiable, and you should resign and cut all ties with such a brutal regime.

This is the requirement of Islam, and of basic moral principle.

Allah (swt) says,

"And incline not to those who do wrong, or the Fire will seize you; and you have no protectors other than Allah, nor shall you be helped."

The action you take at this crucial time will be recorded by history and posterity will remember you accordingly.

Stop Killing Your Own People !
We condemn the brutal killing of hundreds of unarmed protesters in Libya. There is no place for such barbarism in civilized world. Muammar Gaddafi should step down, if he is no longer wanted and rejected as leader by the Libyan people. The Libyan foreign service corps should support the aspirations of the Libyan people for the truth, freedom and justice. Severe your ties with Gaddafi now and help remake the history of your country. Libya is not Gaddafi ! Libya is for the Libyan people !
