I'm a Lesotho citizen that has been in South Africa since 1992, and have two children who are 22yrs and 18yrs old. They were both born in SA, and i have been trying to get SA ID documents for them but have not been successful. Now i'm being told that I need to renew my passport in order for them to get SA ID documents. Please assist me as I'm desperately in need of help. Both my children are in high school and need to matriculate soon. Your assistance will be highly appreciated

Hello there. I matriculated at Butha-Buthe High School in Lesotho in 1993. My matric certificate got stolen with all the other items which were in my car when I was hijacked in 2010. Please urgently help, I'm a Lesotho Citizen who has been living in SA since 2002 to further my studies, I completed and work in SA. I got married to a South African in 2006 and got my PR in 2009. My Lesotho passport in expirying in July and I went to Home Affairs to inquire if I can now apply for citizenship so I Can get SA passport.
I was told that I only qualify in 2014 and now I will have to make a Lesotho passport again.
Will I be able to apply for a passport in SA at the Embassy? How soon will I get it as Lesotho passports now take over a year before one receive new one? e.g (My brother who is in Lesotho applied for a passport as his old one was to expire, its now close to two years and he still hasnt received a new passport?

hi,my mother has been living in south africa since 1974,she has been legally married to my late father since 1985 and my mother is still struggling to get an identity document,before my father passed away she was told to apply for a permanet residency,my elder brother is 38 yrs old and i am 28 my other brother is 32 yrs old we all have id's we were assisted by my mother to get our birth certificates,if she is not regarded a south african citizen then how is it possible that we are regarded.my mother was told that now that my father passed away she will have to go back to lesotho ,but now she has never been there since i was born and her life is in south africa now,please can you assist my mother,.......pls contact me on 0716789237 we cant let our mother go live in lesotho she belongs here with us
