Good Morning,
my name is Chada Halawani and i am a resident in Berlin,
i am willing to renew my residency, however on
my Lebanese passport i have 2 separated pages left not a double page only a single sheet.
i would like to know if that will be a problem when i renew my residency.
thank you
Good day.
I have a Lebanese passport and been working in Germany for the past few months. My residency permit is not yet received, but I have something that is called "Fiktionsbescheinigung" which expire in 07-08-2014.
I have to go to Ireland this weekend (Friday to Sunday).
Do i need a Visa or will this be enough?
Please reply as soon as possible!

To whom it may concern,
This is Dr. Nicolas Haddad from Lebanon. I have been trying to call the embassy for over 2 weeks now (me personally from Lebanon and through Mr. Kinan Konayzeh in Germany).
Unfortunately, no one is answering the phone or an answering machine responds. I thought an embassy is there to facilitate the matters of its co-citizens!
I have been wanting to explain an urgent case although we sent you a formal inquiry in this regard on the 20th of February 2014. My records shows that you have received this letter on the 21 of February (the second day). It was sent by Mr. Kinan Konayzeh from within Germany via Deutsche Post (Track number: RT 4866 7903 6DE). As of yet, Mr. Kinan has not received any response from you. Neither him nor myself can reach you by phone simply because you don't answer the phone calls.
All we need from you is simply to certify a document stating that Mr. Kinan Konazeh does not own any property in Lebanon. He signed the affidavit in front of a German notary and then took it to court to sign it in front of a judge. He did all you asked him to. I will add that he also had to take a long trip to Berlin to certify it at the embassy. The embassy refused and asked him to go through a different process. I am really ashamed to claim that we belong to a country that rules by law.
Finally, all I am asking is that you answer the embassy's phone so that we can find out what happened. I will keep on trying to call you today. If I don't get any response, I will state a formal complaint to the Minister of foreign affairs and emigrants, Mr. Gibran Bassil. Then I will state my case to the media.
Nicolas Haddad, Ph.D.
University of Balamand
Koura, North Lebanon.
PS: The email address you provided does not receive as well. Here is the phone number we have been trying to reach you on
49304749860 (obtained through the Ministry of Exterior)
My phone number: 961-2-811269 (cell phone in Lebanon)
Mr. Kinan Konayzeh's number: 49(0)157 509 13314 (cell phone in Germany)
