Passport renewal
Hi there
I am a lebanese Living in Germany since August 2015
My passport should be renewed and I have a problem that my visa will finish in 21/3/2016
And now I will apply for renewing passport but I was shocked that it needs three months to be renewed and this will make me face troubles with my resident in Germany and also with the job center and they will sure stop paying my house fee and also the living fee which I take from the government, please please please I need to know what way I could make to get my passport renewed before 21/3/2016.

Hello there.
I'm studying civil engineering at the University of Damascus, but stopped the study because of the security situation in Syria, and I want to complete my studies in Germany in order to go back to Syria to rebuild.
What are the conditions required and the necessary paperwork.
Thank you.
Ala'a Alamir.

No one answering calls at the Lebanese embassy
Reading some of the comments here it seems I am not the only one who has faced this problem. I am a Lebanese living in Germany and I have been trying to contact the embassy in Berlin since 2 weeks in order to inquire about the registration of my new born son and how to obtain him a passport as the documents listed on the embassy website are not so clear on the validity of the required attachments. Till date, I have made over 200 calls in attempt to reach someone in the embassy. I have tried all listed telephone numbers (3), fax and email, yet they neither pick up the phone nor reply emails. Does the embassy still exist?
