Comments on this Embassy
Sometime in 2009 my wife and I went to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. When we were in Phenom Pehn, we went to a Bus Company for a trip in going to Laos via Pakse. At the Bus company we were advised to pay $3 dollars for a visa fee before they would issue a ticket. I argue with the ticket issuer because as far as i know as Filipino and Philippines as well as the country of Laos is a member of the Association of SouthEast Asian Nations (ASEAN) which country members, its constituents are VISA FREE they only need passport to enter ASEAN . This action of the people (Bus Terminal) in Phenom Pehn should be look into as this affects the tourism industry of Laos. In short, we cancell our trip in going to Laos. I would appreciate it very much if somebody would enlighten me on this matter. Thank you very much
