Hello, I'm Akwo Derick, a Cameroonian teaching in Thailand. I want to book tourist visas for me and my wife. We want to spend some few days in Laos. Can we apply in Khon khaen and have the visas the same day?

Please I'm going to lao embassy in koen kaen.can anybody direct me best way from airport to the embassy. If by taxi or mini van etc?and from embassy to border how can I get bus going to border from the embassy? Thanks.

I am a Mauritian, working in Thailand since 2007. I have my work permit and Non-B visa. It is my first time that I am traveling trough the northeast of Thailand with my Thai wife and my two sons which is born in Thailand.
I am now in Nong Khai and I just learn that I need a visa. Will it be possible for me to go to the Laos Embassy in Khon Kaen to make my visa. I only want to spent a whole day with my family.

Am i correct that being over 65 (I am 71)That i can obtain a free visa to laos.Would i have to obtain that from Khon Kaen or can i get a visa at the border crossing at Nong Khai.
