Dear Sir, my wife and I are travelling to Vietnam and wish to head to Lao after 5 days. We are Pakistani National working in UAE. There is no Lao Embassy in UAE. Can we apply for Lao visa in Hanoi?

Now, I'm doing business in Samneua City, Huaphan Province. I need to take my father who gets stomach intestine ache to the Vietnam Army Central Hospital 108 in Hanoi. I plan the trip at this Sunday 02/12/2012. In order to get the good medical care service, do I need a official note and how? I would like to obtain a visitors visa to Lao, I am in Hanoi now but will go to China for a month on or about June 24 2010. I would like to get the visa in Nanning in July on my way back from China or in Hanoi before I go' I will be going by bus to Lao. Thanks for all the trouble and hope to hear from you.
