The stupidness of the officials always wins over common sense. Tried to apply for transit visa via Japan. Flying from Hongkong to Russia with transit in Tokyo. Changing airports. They refused taking our documents because we need to have valid american visas in our passports...I tried to explain to them that my trip has nothing to do with america or Canada... The answer was these are the rules...

my two friends is Chinese national going for a cruise to Hokkaido, Japan.
i've booked the cruise tours for them from s'pore and both my friends will go to Japan from Guangzhou , China.
can i get a travel agent in Guangzhou to apply Japan visa for them or they have to go to Japan emabassy personally?

I NEED JAPAN TOURIST VISA, SO I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHATS THE PROCEDURE AND DOCUMENTS REQUIRE FOR APPLYING THE VISA.
I live in Dongguan and would like to on vacation to Okinawa with my family, do I need a pre visa, or can get a visa on arrival?
