schengen visa
Hi - I have a client booked on a tour to Italy - flying to Austria to stay 6 months
in Austria attending a school , has a return
ticket - tried to apply for a Schengen visa
Austrian Consulate says she has to travel to Ottawa which is very difficult for them,
would you be able to obtain the Schengen
visa, they have all the papers in order
and could Mrs Rennert visit your office to
get some assistance in this matter.
I would very much appreciate that.
Thank you - Rita G. Cambie House of Travel

Citizenship
My father was born in 1908 in Canada. His parents had immigrated from Italy, and were naturalized in 1921. If they were yet Italian when my father was born, was my father born as an Italian or a Canadian or would he have had dual citizenship? Or perhaps British?
If he was born as an Italian, could I then being born in Canada also get an Italian citizenship?

Criteria for Italian Passport
I am Canadian born, 2nd generation and I would like to apply for my Italian Passport. Based on what I read, if my mother and/or father were born in Canada, I am still eligible if my mother or/and father also obtained their passport. Neither of my parents ever renounced their right to a passport because they did not think it was necessary. If my mother applies today, would I be able to follow and apply through her? Thank you!

Certifying Birth Certificate
I would like to make an appointment to have an Italian Birth Certificate "certified"/"stamped". I am in receipt of the Birth Certificate from Sannicandro di Bari, but it requires a "stamp" from your office. Please advise at to when I may come to your office to get this done a.s.a.p. Thankyou in advance.

Lost (stolen?) shipment sent form Italy during stay...
Hello there...
I have had a couple of regrettable experiences. One in a Rimini Hotel where I forgot my toilletries... with contents approximating $200.00
And, a long and winded story about a shippment of personal items and art material lost "in transit" (or something!) sent ahed of my departure to Spain. Valued between $400-500.00.
I have been unable to get answers from anyone!
How can no one be responsible...
I got all papers and copy of emails as well as tracking numbers.
Shipper just stopped communicating claiming not to know where package was.
I hope I can be "guided" as to how to proceed so I can resolve to a satisfactory conclusion this bitter situation that has darken my trip for months.
Sincerely,
A.

Elective Residence Visa
I am a Canadian citizen currently in Italy for a 3 month period. I will be going back to Canada early December and have been invited to come back to Italy for 6 months starting in January. As I have a place to stay it seems that the Elective Residence visa is the best suited for my situation.
Please advise as to the particulars required for this and do I use the National Visa form or is there a special one that I should be using.

Grazie mile,
Deb
