Ridiculous, crazy, backwards "system"
I queued for 14 hrs to get a slot in the previous 10-pax-a-day policy of the embassy. Be prepared, after all the stress and fatigue of queuing and "sleeping" in a mall, to face a very very rude asian staff (who's not even Italian!) that can make your blood boil. Its only because our tickets are not refundable that I grinned and bore it but otherwise its not humane - what they do to you! But it is what it is - you are always free to change your mind and not go. Just be warned!

Italian visa experiences
I go italy cos of my daughter who is 10years old. She has a holiday end of May. I hope the rule is changed. Makes it easy for who wants to go to Italia. It would be sad to see people waiting for 24hrs to get a queue . Timing is important.

My experience applied Italian in Singapore. You will get exhausted befor you get a Italian visa in Singapore. I advise that is you dont go. It is terriable and not easy to get. they give ONLY 10 number a day . It means 10 people. as I can see people have to stay over the night at Unite Square shopping where Italian embassy is. Stay at shopping for A NIGHT to get a queue for the next day. You have be in the shopping at the first floor if u leave other people will take you number. It means you go there at 8am fill up ur name on paper at 1rst floor. 1-10 numbers. They don't accept ur document if u r number 11. laying there until next day to apply. Italian visa. First person has waited and stayed for 24hrs at italian embassy in Singapore to get the queue. The people who working at embassy are very rude. Not helpful. They don't say anything but they shouted at u. Won't easy. And stupid. The processing is slow. Not worth to go their country. There is many beautiful place around the world. You will disappointed when u apply for Italian visa in Singapore. Waist of money. Be careful when u buy ticket which is not refundable.
