H1b visa holder- schengen visa
I am an Infian passport holder and currently working on h1b in USA. My h1b expired on 31st March 2013 and my employer sent it for extension in March. We got an RFE in October and my employer replied to it by 5 th January 2013. Visa extension is still under process. However, in the last one month I decided to back to my home country. I was planning to take schengen visa and travel to Europe before going back home in May. Can I apply for schengen visa from USA or I need to go back to India.

Pension stopped
My grandamothers pension stopped in December of 2012...for over a year she has not received a check. It is very hard to get a response from the Italy on this. We have exhausted our measures to try to reinstate the pension. What now?

Amanda Knox railroaded again
I am appalled that the legal system of Italy is so focused upon saving face that they retried Amanda Knox and her co-defendant with no evidence and a farcical motive and found her guilty. I have visited Italy in the past but will not ever again come to Italy as you are not a country that follows the rule of law but instead can find anyone guilty.

Where do you get the correct form for elective residency visa for Italian consulate ?? Must this be completed Before your appointment?

I informed my wife and daughters that I will no longer pay for any clothes made in Italy or travel to .This is Joke of a trial regarding Amanda Knox .I am recommending to all my friend to do the same.

Nasty Consulate
The Italian Consulate in New York behaves as badly as many of the nasty government workers in Italy.
They have no patience, treat their clients like dummies, give brief incomplete answers, and don't care about questions. They are always irritated.They are the usual hack workers who resent working from 9-12 in Italy. Lazy, arrogant, narcissistic, above it all. And in the end, who are they? Italians have given up and don't know how to render these people accountable. I am really deciding to get out of Italy for good.

I am a permanent resident in USA, how long I can get the tourism Itallian visa for a week and a half?
