Request for appointment to travel to Italy on 7/5/13
Good Day Sir/Madam... The website newyork.visas@esteri.it is sending a bounce back - so I'm requesting an appointment for a visa to travel on 7/5/13. I received one from your efficient offices in 2013, so I have ALL the required documents plus a completed Schengen Visa Application awaiting your response. Please contact me at 6467250022. Thank you - Gwynet Charles.

Personal tour guides for Naples, Florence and Rome
Can you recommend any personal tour guides for these cities? Is there a list of credited English speaking guides, trained in the history, archeology, etc of the above cities?

Italy--what a mess
The people in your office are brain dead. They act like Mafioso. Rude, stupid and unhelpful.

Italy
First we have Benito Mussolini and the Italian people getting a free ride for their fascist following of Adolph Hitler. Then we have Giuliano Mignini a convicted criminal prosecuting Amanda Knox, and then we have Silvio Berlusconi, also convicted of a crime but happily garnering loads of votes from the thoughtful Italian population and finally we have the Italian Supreme Court overturning Ms. Knox's acquittal in a stunning example of Italian justice's view of double jeopardy. American's do not go to Italy. Do not buy Italian goods, especially their chocolate (from the lovely US hating Perugia). What a country, broke, fascist and truly anti-American.

NEVER VISITING ITALY
After the "Amanda Knox" debacle I am done with wanting to visit Italy! Even the Pope could not get me there! I realize this to be a sign you're reniging on payment for damages to her/her family OR you are intent upon charging Americans to the INTH degree! Not going to happen. I WILL NEVER COME TO ITALY, I WILL NEVER BUY ANY PRODUCT OF ITALY, AND MY CHILDREN/GRANDCHILDREN WILL NEVER STUDY IN ITALY! Its all about the Money isn't it?! You will not get my money! My Olive oil will come from California!

Buono Postale Fruttifero
My mother has two Buono Postale Fruttifero each 100.000 Lira. They were bought on 27-10-71. Are they still good and how does she cash them in?

TOTALLY DISGUSTED
People that work in the Italian consulate, are the rudest people I have ever come across, very condescending, you can't get a correct answer from them every time you call they give you different answers. They are a total disgrace, treat the public like a bunch of Idiots, God is watching!!!!!
