I am interested in getting an Italian passport, as both my parents are Italian born, I was born in Australia can you tell me what paperwork I need for the Italian passport. Also if both parents are Italian would I be able to live in Italy.

I would like to apply for an italian passport. Both my parents and grandparents were born in Italy. My parents are now Australian citizens. Am I eligible to get a passport? If so, what information do I require to bring in with me when I make an appointment to go to the consulate here in Melbourne?

I was wondering why is takes so long to make an appointment to apply for citizenship for a spouse of an Italian Citizen. The website says no appointments are available until March 2015. That seems to be an awfully long time to make an appointment.
I recently travelled to Italy and of course purchased items as you do, I was advised by 3 store keepers that I had not been charged theVAT Tax but I was given paperwork and told to hand this to customs at the airport, have the paperwork stamped and then deposit into mailing boxes. Well, I did that, stood in line for over an hour and then had to deal with very rude customs lady, who virtually through paperwork at me. And guess what, I was STILL charged the VAT tax.
