In the past I have been able to vote in Italian elections but have not had a postal vote for some time. I would also like to apply for an Italian passport - my mother registered my birth at the Commune di Sezze, Latina.

Would it also be possible to pick up a passport application form at the Italian Consulate in Manchester, and for someone to help me fill in the application form as my written Italian is not as good as I would like it to be.

Hi! I would like to apply for Italian citizenship/passport, due to the fact that my Father and grandparents were Italian from Salerno and Bari. My father was a Police Officer before meeting my Mother a British Citizen. I was born in Northampton UK. My Father has passed away in 1986 in the UK. I do have a copy of his death certificate but not his birth certificate. His name was Donato Biondi born on 10th July 1923, he died in 1986. My Grandparents are dead and my Father’s Sister I believe is dead, she was a Nun, Sister Immacolata. My Father is buried with his sister in Italy. Bari plays a part in my Father’s life but I am not sure what. In the late 1990’s I did speak to a member of staff in the welfare department of the Embassy in Manchester and they found my Father’s file. I do know that there some letters at the Embassy and a detailed file, as when my Father was a Policeman he was shot in the leg.
