Passaport Renewal
After trying many times to get an appointment with the London Consulate I finally gave up before the frustration took over. I decided to see what the Cardiff office could do. It took me 2 days of continuous ring but evetually a very helpful lady answered and replied to all my questions. I went 1 week later to the Cardiff office and was welcomed by a very friendly Mr. Contini. The paperwork/process for the renewal was quick and easy. The poor gentleman is looking after a vast area and he is doing a sterling job! Worth the trip to Cardiff 100 times instead of going to the London Consulate!!!

Wasted day
I have also been trying for weeks to get through to the Cardiff consulate. Decided to go on the off chance with my 70 year old brother today to renew his passport. Imagine how frustrating when arriving after a two hour car journey to find it closed till the 6th February!!!
Can the staff maybe post information like this and any other revelant information(opening times etc )on a a phone message or a post on the web-site? Whilst there another gentleman turned up on his bicycle to be disappointed like us!! I came last year to renew my passport, only rang a few times before my call was answered and was told no appointment was needed. Once there the whole process was quick and easy, Mr Contini and his staff were courteous and efficient ... a far cry from the experience of passport renewal in London!!

Trying for more than 3 weeks, why is it so difficult for someone to answer the phone need my passport if you don't want to work then perhaps you need to give the job to someone that cares topical you even have open hrs like Italy 9to 12 no wonder nothing gets due one angry customer.

By the way, I rang Liverpool and phone got answered immediately...shame on you Cardiff!!

Also a shame that she could not book an appointment for Cardiff from the Liverpool terminal... :(

I would hate to go and then be turned away as no appointment!!
