It has been impossible to speak to anyone at the Consulate. No matter at what time I call, and it is always between 9.00am - 11.00am I get a message that the office is closed but in the same breath they say that the Office hours are from 9.00am - 12.00Noon. Go figure this out. I sent them an e-mail and after 2 or 3 reminders they finally answered by giving me an appointment for ... 2nd May, 2014 ....yes, 2014. I sent an e-mail saying that surely it must have been a typing mistake. No answer has been received so far; that was over 4 weeks ago!!

I NEED TO LOCATE MY GRANDFATHER'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE SO I CAN BECOME A DUAL CITIZEN IN ITALY. I FOUND WHO I HAVE TO DIRECT MY REQUEST TO (UFFICIO DELLO STATO CIVILE), BUT I WONDERED IF SOMEONE COULD HELP ME WITH THE PROCESS AS I DO NOT SPEAK ITALIAN. THANKS.
How do i apply for an italian passport, my dad was born in italy and im very interested in moving over ad find it easier if i have a passport.
