Synagogue visits
Please tell me how I can obtain permission to visit the synagogues in Panama. On our last visit we were unable to do so and were told that we must contact the Israeli Embassy first.

Panama's agriculture
Dear Ambassador Galilee,
This is to let you know that an article of mine about Raanan Katzir will appear in the September issue of the Bajareque Times, and I will gladly send you a copy by email, if you wish. The theme of the article is the visit in 1910 to Chiriqui of Dr. Katzir and the need for Panama to improve the productivity of its agriculture. In this connection I want you to know that my July article in the same magazine was about the creation of an agriculturaland environmental research center in Batipa in conjunction with the Oteima Technological University, both of which are owned and operated by Luis Rios Espinosa and Nixa Gnaegi de Rios. It would therefore be much appreciated if Israel were to send Dr. Katzir or someone else with his qualifications to present lectures at Oteima to Farmers, Veterinarians and others about how to improve Panama's agricultural productivity. You can reach me by email or by phone to 6414-0108. Sincerely,
Ralph Dessau.
