REQUESTING FOR SPONSORSHIP TO STUDY A SHORT TRAINING IN ISRAEL WITH A TUTION WEIVER ON IT
I am Samuel Jerry Odindo, a masters student in community Health and
Development with an undergraduate in agribusiness management and
currently a staff in Great Lakes University of Kisumu as a graduate
Assistant.

I am looking for sponsorship to go to Israel to study water, crop and
irrigation management programme in October 2012.
According to my recommendation letter, I have been offer a tuition
scholarship of 9870 (New Israel Shekel) and therefore I am expected to

I am limited in funds and I was requesting for a sponsorship that can
cover my local expenses fee and my air ticket.

Given this grant, I will be of more benefit to 150 Community Based
Organisation (CBOs) that GLUK is attached to in their partnership
sites. My acquired knowledge will assist them to established water
irrigation projects which can boost their harvest and improve the food
security situation.
Since I am a lecturer, my acquire knowledge will also benefit the
students I shall be lecturing in class.
During holidays, I do visit Missionary Community of St Pauls Apostle,
to offer voluntary service in Todonyang mission. I do assist in
irrigation projects within the mission and around Lake Turkana.

I am also planning to start offering voluntary services in lecturing
agricultural and business courses in Ramogi Institute of Advance and
Technology (RIAT). Already I have submitted my application letter to
the principle and waiting to start offering my voluntary lectures in
September.
