A Discussion about Syria.
I have conducted a research study with the information available to me during a course of about five or six months. I have observed the following: Saudi Arabia and Qatar are involved in criminal weapon distribution occurring outside of their own Nations; and thereby arming several rebel militia organizations in an attempt to defeat the government of President Assad. This criminal gunrunning operation has become more than just a threat to the International Peace; but has cost the lives of over 100,000 people. I wish that I did not have a reason to report the findings of my study, but such is not the case. It is a comprehensive International Criminal Act to support a rebel cause in another Nation under these circumstances.

KIDNAPPED MUSLIM CHILD KILLED BY AMERICANS?
Whatever happened to the little boy kidnapped and murdered in Virginia, that the Pentagon was looking for? His mother was a Muslim who was given an Oval Office award after 911 or something, and people wanted money or information from her, if I remember right?, and took her child and then killed him! And he was just a little boy! Here is the link I found - http://lctekdesign.net/missing.html.

Why would Americans kill a little boy, because his mother testified against torture? And she was on tv in DC, talking about this horrible thing, and all of the terrible anti-muslim things that have happened to her since then, and males driving by and yelling hateful things at her .. and her hand broken, and her jaw broken and all of this terrible violence, by americans .. because she did what was right. And how FBI even made fun of her son screaming for her.

Is this not the worst side of americans? Do you think others of us, who are Muslim mothers, should be afraid for our children, also?

Monkeys Don't Belong in Space!
Dear Sir/Madam,
I hear in the media that Iran is attempting to reinvigorate its fledgling space programme by sending a live monkey into space within the next month. Senior figures within the Iranian Government have reportedly stated that the preliminary tests have all been completed and the monkeys (presumably macaques) are currently being kept in quarantine to await their fate. Sadly, there is a long history of animals being cruelly forced to go into space. The first macaque put into orbit was called Albert, sent up in 1949. Since then many animals have been forced to follow, including various species of primates, dogs, mice, fish and frogs, several of whom have never returned. PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) urged Dr Hamid Fazeli, head of the Iranian Space Agency, to cancel the planned mission in 2011, pointing out that primates are NO longer sent into space by the American or European space agencies.

Personally, I am horrified by photos in the media of a visibly terrified monkey crudely strapped into a restraint device in which he was allegedly launched into space by the Iranian Space Agency. Monkeys are highly intelligent and sensitive animals who not only are traumatized by the violence and noise of a launch and landing, but also suffer when caged in a laboratory before and - if they survive - after a flight.

The European Space Agency (ESA) - which represents Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK - has a very active space exploration programme and has publicly stated that it "- declines any interest in monkey research and does not consider any need or use for such results". The ESA instead employs modern technology such as the state-of-the-art simulators to assess health risks for astronauts. NASA ended the use of primates in space radiation experiments in the early 1990s, when it determined that the results were not relevant to human astronauts. In 2010, NASA's plans to restart the programme were cancelled after PETA and others voiced strong ethical and scientific objections to the ill-advised plan.

Sending animals into space is cruel and totally unacceptable, and I write today to urge you NOT to continue any space-plans where live animals are involved. Whether Iranians want to travel into space is, - as far as I am concerned - their own business; but please leave the animals where they belong: safe and sound here on earth.

Thank you for considering my comments.

Free Saeed Abedini
As an American citizen, I request that you release Saeed Abedid, he has done no harm to the Iranian people. He came to bring hope and joy to a country that has been at war for a long time. He is a father, a son, a husband and beloved friend of many. Does not your own faith have compassion? Does not your own faith have forgivenss? All you do by keeping him, tourchering him and sentencing him so harshly is showing the world that Islam is a relegion of hate. That your Mohamed is hateful and unkind. Not something that will make the world want to be apart of. So please show your kindness and release Saeed Abedini immediatly.

actions speak louder than words
This correspondence is in regards to Mr. Saeed Abedini, currently imprisoned in Evin House of Detention.
It is not a mystery to all people that it is the ultimate mission for Muslims to spread the good news of Islam to everyone acroos the globe. But what is both conflicting and confusing to people is the grave displays of intolerant actions seen worldwide against leaders of other faiths. Against those individuals of non Islamic faith viewed by many as peaceful and loving. This goes against the very nature of Islam's own cause. If Muslims are truly sincere aboout their mission, it would only make sense to show the American people and those around tho world the lenient side of Islam.By not granting Mr. Abedini his freedom to return to his family gives the notion that Islam hasn't the compacity to understand anyone else at all. People would understandably view this intolerance as blind rejection. Therefore how can any positive Islamic outreach be achieved when Islam shows very little acceptance to the very people it reaches out to. It is my hope that Mr. Abedini be released without delay to his family. In the broad scope of all things hoped for, actions do speak louder than words. Truly the people who show mercy at this point in time will be viewed as the more wise and most tolerant.

jailed pastor
i would like to encourage you in the strongest possible terms to free the American Pastor Saeed Abedini and point out that you have nothing to gain by continuing to hold him except further bad publicity that will serve only to turn world opinion against you, holding this man hurts you more than it does him.so why not use your head and not let your anger and hatred cloud good judgement. let him go!!
