We do a substantial portion of jobs from US market, especially Texas, Okhlama, California, etc.
I note that that there are lot of business from small EPC firms in Oil & Gas, Power stations, Refinery, pharmaceutical firms, fabricators, etc. from overseas-especially GCC & US markets for designing and drafting services. This is because Indian costs for such services are very competitive. This also applies to Engineering goods, spare parts, chemicals, dye stuffs, etc. I know a PO on an Ahmedabad firm for 21 nos. air fin Propane Condensers ordered by a Canadian Contractor, as despite the Container freight cost of US$ 7,000/- per 20 ft container for Ocean freight from Kandla to Canada, it just was approximately 40% of USA FBM Hudson's price.
