The old Iranian Embassy in London at 50 Kensington Court, London W8 5DB is now called Interests Section of the Islamic Republic of Iran
Following is one of my many e-mail that I have sent to this so called consulate:
"I have in the past tried to contact you by phone and e-mail. Unfortunately, you have not replied to either. My Iranian passport has expired and I need to renew it. Before that, I have several questions I need to ask you if you have the decency and courtesy to answer them. Afterall, you are all there to serve the Iranian community. I called your number today and after waiting for 10 minutes I got through to an answering service. What is the point of that ? May be you are trying to keep up with the old Iranian tradition of "I can't be bothered" !
Anyhow, these are my questions:
1. What application forms and other documents do I need to send ?
2. How much is the fee ?
3. Do I need to send my original British Passport ?
4. How long will it take ?
So if it isn't asking too much, please stop munching on your chelokabab, take a moment to read my e-mail (or answer your phone for that matter) and send me the information I need.
A very frustrated Iranian
