Sri Lanka was always a multicultural country and it's constitution clearly states the following
Act to protect civil rights against extremism.

Sri Lanka was always a multicultural country and it's constitution clearly states the following :

The Republic of Sri Lanka shall give to Buddhism the foremost place and accordingly it shall be the duty of the State to protect and foster the Buddha Sasana, while assuring to all religions the rights granted by Articles 10 and 14(1)(e).

and every citizen is entitled to :

"Every person is entitled to freedom of thought, conscience and religion, including the freedom to have or to adopt a religion or belief of his choice".

Freedom of Speech, assembly, association, movement, etc.,

14. (1) Every citizen is entitled to -

(a) the freedom of speech and expression including publication;

(b) the freedom of peaceful assembly;

(c) the freedom of association;

(d) the freedom to form and join a trade union;

(e) the freedom, either by himself or in association with others, and either in public or in private, to manifest his religion or belief in worship, observance, practice or teaching;

(f) the freedom by himself or in association with others to enjoy and promote his own culture and to use his own language;

(g) the freedom to engage by himself or in association with others in any lawful occupation, profession, trade, business or enterprise;

(h) the freedom of movement and of choosing his residence within Sri Lanka; and

(i) the freedom to return to Sri Lanka.

But the government has failed to protect the citizens against violence and extremism by encouraging the BBS and we believe it's time for the International community especially the UN Human Rights Council to intervene and take necessary action.
Sincerely,
[Islamic society of colombo]

Wishes to sent a monkey into space,
I very happy to wishing Iranian scientists and the Honorable president of Iran Ahmath Najath behalf of Srilankan Muslims for successful mission sent a monkey into space, which supposedly returned to Earth unharmed. Israel and their friends are confusing about the "re entry technology" of Iranian missile.
Allah is great ever.

Isreal Using Maldives as a propagator against Iran and other Muslim nations
Dear Sir

since the change of this new government, we have seen that Israel has secret connection with Maldives government some officials, Namely, Ameen Faisal,Dr. Ahmed Shaheedh, Afeef, Mariya Ahmed Didi, Abdulla Shahid DB. and president Mohamed Nasheedh, all these are trying to change our Islamic culture into liberal un Islamic society. they have had 5 agreements with Israel. And also they have given a one special island to make marine neval training center in Maldives to Israel. This has to be stopped and we strongly need your assistance. if un Islamic countries can comes into our place , i believe that Islamic countries such as Iran can too come into our place n talk about internal matter..

Ibrahim
