Response to raymond
Yes Raymond it is sad for all dead addicts and yes all know the rules in Indonesia.
But why wait 10 years spend time and money reforming these two guys and the execute them?
That is barbaric and if you don't think so, then maybe you are on drugs

may all drug dealers get the message
who's crying for the dead addicts?
Indonesia has its laws and these guys new this but because Australia is soft on drug pushers they thought they could get away with it as they do in Australia and most other permissive countries.
You people writing in don't give a dam about all the lives these drug pushing people wreck, so if it stops some of these drug criminals then it has done some good.
Two deaths maybe will save a thousand others, and it is strange that we don't here you people writing in about all the other injustices that go on, so are you all drug uses that want everyone to agree with your damnable habit?

Executions of Bali Duo and others
I would like to reiterate what John M has expressed above his outrage of what has been done.
It is obvious that Megawati woman still wields her satanic powers over everyone and she should in no way be privileged because of her ancestry status,or under estimated - because basically she has a putrid heart and soul.As a whole the Indonesian government has gained notoriety for its corruptness behind the scenes. So before condemning others who far less corrupt than them they should realise that nemesis will visit them also sooner or later. The attitude of the Australian Government is questionable since the AG of Indonesia is so blatantly bombastic that he is sure it will pass and things will be back to normal again. I am appalled at the way the Australian government keeps kissing the feet of the Indonesions, who say Australia needs them and they need Australia. It is more that they need Australia who spontaneously rush with aide plus in times of their needs. I think if our politicians have more guts and sense they could reverse this by scrapping/reducing all trade deals with them on an official level and stop the generous aide given to Indonesia, including training their Military in Australia. One cannot have true friendship at any level with traitors and corrupt government officials on all levels. This not logical to begin and we need to have leaders with guts not worried about the $ which can be earned elsewhere and in other ways. Also educate young people in the dangers of holidaying in Bali getting drunk and being pulled into dangerous situations unwittingly. This is as much a responsibility of parents who should be less naïve and more aware of certain situations with regard to their youngsters holidaying in Indonesia and some other Asian countries. Coming from an Asian background know full well the pitfalls of which Australians generally are very naïve and trusting. It is easy to be taken advantage of, so one has to be extra wary. I greatly feel for the families who have lost 2 basically good souls who have reformed in every sense and an asset to Indonesia instead of being destroyed due to the depraved and indiscretion of the country who have exposed to the world their weakness not their strength and might.

Widodo Indonesian Dog
Hope the president Widodo is hunted down and tortured for 10 years and then executed. You barbaric pig.
Never ever again will I spend a cent on anything that helps the Indonesian economy. Not only has he ended lives of two reformed Australian men who did the wrong thing, and spent the past decade trying to amend for their wrong doing. Because of his actions in ordering the executions, his own countries men, women and children will be serverly effected with millions of people around the world not wanting to have anything to do with a country a murderer leads

Widodo live as long as you can, in shame you dog, your time will come

Although these drug runners deserved severe punishment, executions like this are totally unacceptable & barbaric.
I will never visit Indonesia, buy or support their products or goods & will never welcome this land into our country.
Good ridance to you,you will never, ever receive any support from me.
I can now imagine how the Jews must have felt about the Nazi's.

Outrage over executions
I will never set foot on Indonesian soil again after the execution of Andrew and Myuran. There was no need to kill these people. They had spent 10 years in prison and were reformed characters.

Widodo is a pathetic specimen of a man using the lives of others to bolster his own power. I wish him every political and personal misfortune in his future life. The man has no humanity.

Those Australians who have mistrusted the direction of Indonesian society have every reason to be even more distrustful of this nation.

To the Australian federal police, they have blood on their hands. Their decision to deliver the lives of the Bali 9 into the hands of the Indonesian authorities was utterly disgraceful.

To Myuran and Andrew, your struggle to rehabilitate your lives and become decent men has been terminated by these cruel and heavy-handed executions. May your souls now find peace in death.

People make mistakes, some worst then others, many of us learn form it and become rehibilitated,
Indonesia is well corrupted and very pig headed, there is no justice in there actions, and there are a bunch of pigs with a corrupted system where money talks.
I don't want my kids learning indonesia at school cause we never be going there.
