Terrible dealing with Indian embassy
I have my toughest time dealing with Indian embassy in toronto and I guess it is the same everywhere. So disorganized, no concern, no clue on how your application will be dealt and whom to approach to get an answer if you have a problem. Yet there is none to whom you can complain,, just bear with them. All I had to do was to change my address on my passport application and they gave me a nightmare. The local embassy people where your passport lies will never lift your call. I wrote 10 times and called another 10 times to vfs global. Absolutely no help and all they do is to ask me to send a reminder mail again and again. Vfs people are so dumb and they do not have any info on the actual process of application. No knowledgeable people at all and every time I meet someone new and have to repeat the whole story. It has been almost 2 months for the passport renewal where the stipulated time on the website they mentioned was within 10 days in Toronto jurisdiction. I don't know when I am going to receive it.

Do you even service???
I have been holding on to my phone for the past 40mins., I haven't even had an opportunity to talk with a person, because you don't have the telephone etiquette to come on the line, greet your caller and advice the caller of the time it will take for their call to be attended to...such shoddy service

It's just horrible people
It's been only three years since I left India and its so difficult for an indain to get visa to return back to visit her family.. My indain passport got expired and the embassy people are not giving visa on my travel document ... That's too much.. They are saying come after two weeks and then after three weeks, they are still not ready to give me a visa so that I could go to India to see my family... Please at least they should see that I came from India only... Such an ill behaviour people with harsh words... They are only making India shameful in foreign country...

Poor phone service
I tried many time to different phone but never and nobody pick up all numbers. I donot know what is going on these all poor people. I think Center government should call back them and hire people from local.

Only embassador from India is OK but no more staff.

SAD
It is sad how bad you guys are treating people. There is zero customer service. The employees are rude and ignorant. They lack the common curtsey to say even "Hello". You guys should be ashamed of yourself for doing such a poor job as a Consulate-General of India. It is a shame!
