Sorry I have applied 28/05/13 not 28/04
Anyways my two months will be completed on 28 July
And in Rome embassy they take 45/46 days to re issue a passport which has already been reissued in Italy and my passport has been reissued in Milan consulate twice so I think it wouldn't need all that inquiry as the first time. I hope by 28/07 I get my passport back because I have a flight on 5/08.
It's very strange that in Italy it takes so long for simple reissue while in other European countries it takes less then a month and in India it takes a week or so. How come here it's so much of an hassle. First you have to wait an appointment online then wait again two months? I think we are Indians here and we pay for the service I think this simple reissue takes too long procedures? How come before it wasn't like this?
I think this system isn't comfortable for any nri living in Italy. I wasted two months before getting an appointment for 28/05 and the appointment I got online was end of may?its not my fault? One isn't aware of this random new laws?
