My son is a medical student in Guangzhou, China. He uses ICICI International Debit Card for withdrawing money to meet his daily expenses there. Suddenly in the middle of September'16, his Debit Card got blocked along with almost all Indian Students using Debit Cards of different Banks in India. We had sent him money on an emergency basis using SWIFT code of a Bank there and a huge amount had been deducted in the process of transaction. Yesterday, on 11th September, the Card became active & my son could withdraw a little amount that was left in the account then. Today, we quickly transferred the necessary amount that is required for meeting his monthly expenses, but unfortunately the card again got blocked. Kindly look into the matter as he is in a foreign country & there is no one to share his financial problem.

Indian passport, USA valid I-94 and petition
Sir,

My wife and kid are traveling via China Southern
LAX (Los Angeles) - > Guangzhou (China) - > DEL (new Delhi)

They have 2 hrs layover and will stay at airport and have valid Indian passport and expired US visa on passport, Approved and original I-94, Approved and original petition.

Can they travel without China transit visa?

Also, one week later i will be also going through same route with 12 hr layover at Guangzhou (Do i need a China transit visa? Can i get out of airport and come back in ?)

Request your assistance. I did ask Indian Embassy at US and China southern airlines but none seem to have an affirmative answer.

Our Travel is between 17-Nov to 29-Nov-15.
