Regarding clarification about foreign supplier registration in cameroon.
Dear Honorary High Commissioner of India
Greeting of the day!
This mail is regarding some clarification about Export & Import registration in Cameroon for foreign supplier . My name is Gautam Anand and I am working in Kuber Grains & Spices Pvt. Ltd.located in new delhi,india. My company is engaged in manufacturing and exporting Food and Non Food Products. In non food section we are deal in Incense Sticks. I got Incense Sticks order from Cameroon importer .After submitted sample and proforma invoice they decided to deposit money .But when he went to bank ,bank didn’t ready to transfer money to my company account in India. Banker told him accordance to Central African Republic import regulation new policy foreign supplier needs to be registered in Cameroon authority. He described , this new policy has just been put in place that before any food,pharmaceutical, chemicals, cosmetics and other related products payment transfer will be made and products allowed into Central African Republic markets it must surely be registered.

Buyer provided me two mail id urattorney@ymail.com/nanchambers@justice.com with contact person name PRINCE BLAISE SEREPOU.I applied for registration and submitted all document and sample. He replied there is some registration fees we need to pay and provided me a private company bank account which is located in new delhi India. When I asked about this company he told me there is bilateral agreement between this company and their government department. He only provided bank me account and IFSC code .When I asked for address and contact no of this company. He deny.

Sir I not getting how a government organization can do bilateral agreement with private firm. Please help me and clarify, Is there any policy in Cameroon to register foreigner supplier for getting first payment. I am sending you document that he mailed me for payment deposit. Sir I am not getting what to do. I request you please let me know these documents are genuine or fake. We are not aware of Cameroon government policy and I hope you will definitely guide and suggest us right way.

Under this circumstances, I would request you to look into this matter and kindly do the needful at the earliest.
