to be people who have commented here regarding indians being treated unfairly, i would like to tell u that it's not only Indians who are being treated in that manner. it has become a trend in this country because our social fabric has been destroyed. as for the increase in robbery and burglary cases, it is not only against foreigners that robberies occur. Even Maldivians suffer, and the police do not discriminate. I myself is a victim of robbery that occured some eight months ago and I am a Maldivian. I have not heard from the police since. So your claim of the police not helping you because you r a foreigner or a non-muslim has no basis. We have seen similar incidents in India, and we don't urge people not to go there.
