Our salary wages are not paid regularly & continuously we have salary payment problem. Our families & dependents fully depend on our monthly salary wages. We have no other source of earning. Every time we have to struggle with company for our salary payment, the company does not respond to our demands. Last time we stopped work with prior intimation to company to demand our 3 month salary dues. That time we were threatened by company DDPA (Deputy Designated Person Ashore) that they will call Syrian police action against us.
This time again we have not been paid salary since January 2011 and 13 of us have already completed their contract Tenure and awaiting (since last 2-1 month) all salary dues and repatriation to India.
The company is not responding with any confirmed date of all salary dues payment & repatriation.
Every time they are giving some or other excuses and delaying. This attitude of company towards us is causing uneasiness amongst crew. Some crew members are mentally depressed and becoming hysterical, they are crying and cannot sleep during night.
We are helpless and have no facility to contact outside help.
We are helpless and request your kind help and assistance.
We response will be highly appreciated.
