Can I get a 6 month India Visa?
Hello, me and my partner are UK citizens and will be in Thailand next December. We need to fly to India and spend 6 months there before getting our connection flight back to the UK. Is it possible to obtain a 6 month visa from you that allows us to actually stay in India without leaving for 6 months?

Indian Visa for Filipino Tourist
Dear Sir,

May I know if it is possible to have my tourist visa application approved on the same day? I am a Filipino tourist traveling through Lao PDR (Luang Prabang) to Thailand (Chiang Mai) before I set off for a month-long trip in India on March 25, 2013. I will arrive in Chiang Mai from Luang Prabang on March 21, 2013. I have already filled out the visa application form online and confirmed an appointment on March 22, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. I am applying for a 3-month tourist visa with re-entry permission (double entry) since I will do a side-trip to Nepal from April 8-16, 2013 and then return to India, specifically Kolkata, to volunteer at Crazy Wanderers Foundation until I leave on April 30, 2013 for my connecting flight in Bangkok for Clark, Pampanga, Philippines. I already prepared all the necessary documents. I also booked my accommodations in Laos PDR, Thailand, India and Nepal, as well as my train tickets in India. I have also booked my flight to Bangkok from Kolkata to connect me to my flight to Clark, Pampanga, Philippines. I would not ask such question if I had any other option (other than re-adjusting my travel itinerary).

Hoping for your kind consideration.

Sincerely,

Angeline Aquino

Visa
The visa online application program was not allowing me to go further and complete the application process. Most of us we do not have second citizenship/passport. The program is designed as such to fill the part about second passport. I went through a nightmare trying to complete the visa application. Why India, like Thailand and Malaysia does not give visa on arrival, free of charge or charge. The tourists are good for India's ecconomy. Why you guys make it so hard for us. Every six months we have to leave for two months and try the same visa process over and over again. Merry-go-round. India is a good country with a corrupt government. Break your old pattern of doing things and make it easy for people! Create good Karma! Do good for people, so good come back to you.
