Sir, i worked in libya upto 28th february 2011 and due to the civil war and as per the direction of indian embassy,tripoli,libya i left libya with emergency certificate issues by the indian embassy,cairo,egypt. As i had worked in kufra i left libya from bengazhi by ship and the EC was issued at bengazhi,and i landed in india at chatrapathi sivaji international airport,mumbai on 04.03.2011 and subsequently i had applied for the re issue of passport at regional passport office, tambaram, chennai on 07.02.2012 by enclosing the EC(original)and the police verification report had also been received but till today ( ie as on 02.05.2012 ) i have not received my passport and recently when i met the regional passport officer for my passport he said, the clerence certificate from indian embassy,tripoli, libya and as well the indian embassy, gairo, egypt is required and informed me that the letter in this regard were sent to the concerned embassies and once the confirmation is received the passport will be issued. I therefore kindly request you sir that, the required confirmation letters shall please be sent to the regional passport office, chennai,india and followup action to inform the indian embassy,cairo,egypt may please be taken from end.For your kind reference my re issue of passport file no is as below : file no: MA3071368220812 PLEASE send me the action taken to my mail id: chokkalingam65@gmail.com
