When will Indian Embassy in UAE undertake issuing of Adhar Card in UAE? For information of Indian Embassy in UAE, there are more then 1000 Indian Ex-Service men engineers working in UAE. Some of them are with Etihad, ADNOC Gp of companies, ADSB, Masdar. Others are working as buisness men, Shipping, Trading & manufacturing. Recently I had been to India and went to my bank to sign life certificate for pension which starts from 1-11-2016. In absence of Adhar card the banks (In my case it's SBI) are refusing to endorse life certificate, because they say they have instruction from Pension authority to accept only digital - biometric based Life certificate, which requires Adhar card. Given this, our pension will be stopped wef Nov 2016. Hence I appeal Indian Ambassador / consular General in UAE to take up this issue with Central Govt ( Defence pension cell " team_cdc.cppc@sbi.co.in", to ensure Banks keep accepting life certificates without Adhar cards for expats all over world where Indian embassies have not started issuing of Adhar Card. Also request Indian embassies to start the process of issuing Adhar/Voter cards etc urgently & on priority
