I can understand why Haiti is in the condition that it is in
I have been trying to reach the Consulate for months and have had no luck.. I am sure the office is open but I suppose that is the result of an office filled with a bunch of selfish, egotistical, and incompetent workers... I am a proud Haitian but this office shames me

Enough is enough
How can we take care of a country when we can't even take care of a miniscule office. Pleeeeeeease, give us a chance to be proud to be haitian. Let's start by updating the phone nuber on the website that has been changed for years.and hire a receptionnist to answer the phone even even once/day. that would be a great start. I love Haiti. Do you?

Phones
I have called your office during business hours, and the phone rings incessantly and no one ever picks it up.

I must command the personel namely Mr Stanley Calixte and Ms Elsa for their assistance during a recent visit to the consulate. Both were courteous, professional, extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make certain I obtained my new passport. I must admit I was a bit apprehensive initially however they reassured me they were prepared to walk me through the process to expedite my request. During my brief stay I observed the personel's ability to defuse volatile situations with relative ease. I urge the comunity to reach out to the personel especially Mr. Calixte and Ms. Elsa to make the consulate more responsive to our numerous needs. I am convinced the staff is definitely up to the challenge I suggested they change the telephone on the website to better their rapport with the community and they were receptive to my suggestion.
