A bunch of air heads in this freaking office.
I do not want to be a U.S Citizen, now I feel like I have no choice
I am Haitian, but the way MIAMI consulate conduct business is proof of why the country is the way it is. If you can't take care of such simple affairs , how on earth can you govern a country effectively. What so sad is that they barely speak any English and they expert me to speak KREOL when their customer service is TERRIBLE. Someone need to fire all of them and start this place over..I do not feel like a proud Haitian when I walking in this place...

Lakewurst office
Your Lakewurst office that opens once a week for two hours is useful, but why should a person go there twice for one service? Case in point: once a person delivers to the office his notarized form of a "mandat" granted to a representative in Haiti for some use, and paid cash for that mandat", why can't the Consulate mail said "mandate" back to the individual instead of having him make another trip and come back to the office for the Consulate final "mandat" form? Some people may have to travel from far

My three year old is stuck in Haiti and they won't help
Very disappointing, after calling the US embassy I was advice to call this office for help, It's crazy how they didn't even care about people situation. My brother pay for my kids to go on summer vacation with my dad who just suffered a stroke and unable to travel now, my mom who has a US visa is blind, airline will only escort the 5 year old not my daughter who is 3 and I don't have any travel document which is why I was looking for help. So thanks to the office my daughter will be stuck there until I'm able to go get her and probably miss school starting in less than 3 weeks.

Bad consulate office, which supposed to help citizens when needed. Extremely dissapointing!

Noone answers the phones, the Haiti Consulate, is never open in Miami.
I have been trying to get some information from the Miami, FL branch of The Hatian Consulate, for five months now. I have tried calling all different hours, but no answer. I got so disgusted I took my business venture to open a manufacturing business in Haiti,to another Caribbean nation's consulate office &they immediately welcomed my business.
