Can some Answer the Phone at the Consulate
Even if you post a review on the internet my guess is that the Guyana Consulate in Miami will not improve their services to their countrymen that either need to renew or get a new passport.

I have left numerous voice messages on their phone recorder with even getting any in return to a simple question. What are their working hours, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm when there is no one there to answer the phone nor to attend the public, Most of the time the consulate is closed, and, it's not on a holiday. They are not there to attend the public.

Please help to someone in desperate need to get a new passport. HELP

A little better phone etiquette
Besides leaving several voice messages with calls never being returned. When you do get someone the lady is not very professional I guess that she must be de Consul wife, she has the same last name.

Being a diplomat's wife require more diplomacy and customer skills, we only call the Consulate because we need a new passport, but, if that's the type of image a person working at the consulate, then we are not better nation than most of even the people from the 5th or 6th world, not even the 3rd. What a shame and to think that we have to pay for such rotten treatment is really a disgrace to our country.

No one answers phone calls
No one answers the phones in this office. I wonder what would happen if enough people complain to the ambassador in Washington. It's sad how you treat your own people! I think I'll change my mind about doing business in Guyana as I can now clearly see what to expect strictly by the representation your own consulate office demonstrates.

Can someone answer the phone in the Consulate
I have left numerous phone messages at the Guyana Consulate to set-up an appointment for a New Passport. Calls are not being returned nor answers to email. We need a New Passport and would like to know how to do so, without travelling all the way to Miami and finding that the Embassy is not open.

Others fellow countrymen have traveled from other areas of Florida to find that no one is at the Consulate so they have to stay overnight with the hope of someone being there the following day, which may or may not occur.

Please let me know that someone is there during 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM as the phone recording states.
