Does a Canadian Resident need a visa for ONE DAY CRUISE trip to Quatemala ?
Dear Sir,
My sister and I are planning a trip to Panama Canal on Norwegian Cruise. My sister is a Canadian resident ( a Chinese National). We are boarding the cruise ship from Miami, US. One source told us that she is able to visit all the countries without a visa because she has a valid multi- entry US visa, with the exception of Quatemala. Another source told us one-day cruise shore excursion is allowd without a visa as she is a legal Canadian resident?

Soy ciudadano canadiense, nacido en Guatemala, recientemente viaje a Guate, por 3 semanas, tengo una cuenta bancaria aya, el problema fue, que no tenia DPI, y no pude mover ese dinero, tramite el DPI, Yo, regrese el domingo 4 de mayo, aca a Toronto, y el dia lunes 5, me llamo mi sobrino, para decirme que a El, lo llamaron para decirle que ese dia, salio mi DPI, no deje a nadie autorizado para recojerlo, por lo que quiero saber, si de aca, puedo enviar una carta poder, para que me lo recojan. muchas gracias.

I am a Rotarian with the Rotary Club of North Bay. I have been visiting Guatemala for the past 4 consecutive years (every February). I participate in a Rotary project called the Guatemala Literacy Project.
The Guatemala Literacy Project (GLP) is a partnership between North American & Guatemalan Rotary clubs and the non-profit organization Cooperative for Education (CoEd). This initiative provides badly-needed textbooks, computer labs, and literacy programs to underprivileged children in Guatemala.

I am wanting to reach out and contact a Guatemala cultural group and tell them about the project I am involved in. Are there any Guatemala groups in Canada? If so, are you able to provide me with contact information?
