Comments on this Embassy
Unfortunately, when I was arrested at my University dormitory and imprisoned/mistreated by the Chinese authorities in December 2002, my Embassy refused to help me when I called them. They claimed they had no lawyers. This was the only time the Chinese authorities allowed me to call anyone before they deported me. This incident cost me the loss of my life in Beijing, not to mention belongings and bank savings.
