Can you imagine how disgraceful these people are.
After calling a million times, I asked the consular officer when the embassy hopes to issue e-passports.
She rudely said she doesn't know, and hung up the phone.
These useless individuals need to be fired immediately, because they are ruining the name of all civilized Ghanaians around the world.
Iam on a fixed income and a sertion person that I came contact with told me he knew some that could help me.get my money back that another person in ,Benin took from me. Iam bagging too get it back and I have names email addresses and receipts and my reward letters say I get disabilities. Sad thing is Iam valuable and not naive.contact me at debbielangston839@yahoo.com
I sent passports for my wife and daughter for renewal since June 21 (was received) and it is exactly three weeks. I keep tracking the return but nothing shows. Please, what is happening? Is the duration still true as stated on the wed site, two weeks? Thank you.

i was at the Gh Embassy in D.C to renew my Gh passport. With a typo on my part on the form and two phone calls from the embassy to verify my D.O.B and a missing applicable line in the form. i picked up the new passport with the wrong D.O.B making it invalid. Went out there to the embassy to effect the corrections, only to be told i have to pony extra $100 which i refused. Why?, b'cos the typo was from me in the original application form i submitted. Well the embassy has my expired Gh passport with my correct D.O.B and even had two calls from the embassy to verify my D.O.B. Where is the administrative overview and cross-reference to the old passport. i guess you can just fill this piece of paper with a Togolese passport and you will be issued a Gh passport at anytime.
i can't talk to a supervisor or consular about it and just in front me they handed a phone to this man to talk about his problems with the passport officer. Gh doesn't treat people equally and i know that.
The lady who greets people at the window need to check her attitude. Very unprofessional....us citizen
Dear Mr Ambassador,
I thought the Embassy in any country is supposed to represent Ghana, serve Ghanaian citizens, and project the image of Ghana as a progressive country. However, it is so sad that in the Embassy nobody answers phones, emails are not answered, applications for visa's are never processed on time despite what is posted at the website of the embassy. So why do we have an embassy? Why are people being paid? I have visited embassy's of other countries during my travels around the world but I have never seen anything as poor as as this. Is there no supervision in this Embassy? Don't you know that you represent Ghana? Those of us from Ghana would like to feel proud of our country, but with this way of doing business, I feel ashamed to call myself a Ghanaian. Please Mr Ambassador, you need to do some housecleaning because we look very very very very bad in the eyes of the world. If things continue this way, you will be a laughing stock in the Diplomatic cycles.
I just cant wrap my mind around this display of incompetence.
Hello is anyone at the Ghana Embassy? It is disappointing that you have an embassy in the United States of America and you still work like you are in Ghana. I have sent my passport including my kids passport for a visa and money order and even sent it express overnight and an addressed return. It shows that it was signed for by K.Appaiah at the Ghana Embassy more than a month ago and till this day I have not received the passports. I have called, emailed and still no respond from the consular. What is going on? Is the embassy still in business? If there is a problem, you need to write, email or call to let people know what is going on!!
I live here in USA and my passport will expire in 3 years. Can I renew it now? Because I don't want to wait till it expires and then they will be delaying and wasting my time like they are doing to u guys now. Can I renew my passport when I have 3 more years to expire ? I need answer please help answer if u know
I feel very sad and extremely disappointed reading about how unprofessional and unethical they are at the embassy. The way the embassy is treating people is very bad. Is Ghana government listening to all these and what is government doing to make sure this stops?
