Notes | IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT JOB OFFERS: If you receive an email message offering you a job in Ghana, and you did not apply for a job with that company, IT IS A FAKE. Do not waste your time or money on further interaction with the people who sent the message. Criminals located in other countries send these fake offers to thousands of people. If you pursue the "job offer", you will be asked to pay fees for visas and other services which you will never receive. There is no real job, only a scam. No legitimate company in Ghana (or anywhere else) would send you an email message out of the blue offering you a job. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. |

Dear Rishabh,
Thanks for your call earlieron and your mail. Please go through the tender details below carefully and get back to me if you can work with me and abide with the Consignee laid down terms and procedures of services. I am not actually importer but i am an agent to Government and Ministries on contract issues. I am also, an agent to Manufacturers who are seeking for buyers on contract basis in our country (GHANA).
The Consignee is looking for a supplier/manufacturer who has good quality products and i am very happy that you are qualified, your Company will be considered eligible and shortlisted at the end of the day by the Procurement Committee whose work is to stabilize, evaluate and make a good choice of standard quality of the needed product from local and foreign suppliers/Contractors.
You have to increase your quote by 0.1% because the Consignee might ask you for a tender fee only if the supply Order is given to you, some cases you may be asked to come down here and sign your Contract Agreement. This increase will cover the cost of your expenditure.
Please be inform that my company is working as an appointed agent from the Consignee, So my company will give you every details for the application of the contract on behalf of your esteemed company and on doing this my company is entitled to 2% Commission out of your total invoice value of any product you supply to the authority here in Ghana and bear it in mind that my commission is only payable to me if you supply any product (s) down here in Ghana through my company's connection/efforts and after the receipt of your 100% full payment.
PAYMENT TERMS:
The Consignee makes an advance down payment of 80% contract value by bank to bank telegraphic transfer and the remaining 20% contract value to be paid by bank to bank telegraphic transfer also before shipment/supply. All payments (100% full payment) to be confirmed by your bank.
I sent your range of products to the Consignee and after a proper scrutiny, the Procurement Committee members indicated so much interest in your Company's brand of products and they want to partner with you in that regard with the under listed items for a commencement;
1. Item: Grill Protection Fan;
(a) Size: 300 mm
(b) Colour: Grey

You are required to send more details of the second item together with your price (Ex-wks) base on the above terms and also indicate your capability to handle the supply if awarded to you. As soon as i receive your mail with regards to the requested informations, i will send it to the Committee members for their approval and revert back to you with the needed quantity order/requirements for submission.
I shall look forward to a happy and successful working relationship with you soon. Have a pleasant day while i wait for your urgent response as soon as possible !
