agree with Dr. Jamalyan
I fully support Dr. Jamalyan! It is impossible to tolarate the attitude of embassy people - acting as if they are Gods in this world and the others are small animals, who do not deserve any polite aproach. Is this the part of the humanistic approach emposed by the "developed" world?

The doctor is right
Yes the doctor is absolutely right. Applicants are called at the same time and it's al-ways a huge line. The attitude of the women who interview people is mostly terrible. They speak very rudely to people. The impression is that applicants are prisoners and are beggin from them for freedom behind the chains. It's very oppressing and humiliating. Something must be done.

A complain of unkind treatment
Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this e-mail to complain regarding the very unkind
treatment me and several peoples have received recently at the
German Embassy in Yerevan.
On Jan 7th, after the interview I was told to come on Jan 13th at
15:00 to get the answer as well as my passport back. I have received
also a cash voucher and a ticket with exact date and time (13.01.09 15:00).
On Jan 13 I came to the Embassy building, passed trough the security
and what I have seen was just terrible:
I can't open the door to enter to the visa department because there
was about 50 to 55 people stacked on the small waiting room. I get into
really by kicking the people up. After a small conversation with people
there I have figured out that each of them got a ticket like I have
with exactly the same date and time - 13.01.09 15:00
There was a young sweet lady in the room who was calling the
numbers... like number 20 or so .....my was 48th so I try to explane
her that I am a doctor and I am harrying up very much because there
are two very unlucky patients who are scheduled for intervention on
that day after four. The young lady says she can't help me and I
have to wait. She also says she can't change my appointment to another
day and for this reason I need to come to the serving windows which
means to wait on the same line. I say I would like to compline about this
and she told me that I have to wait on the line to compline
- and that it is the only possible way to do. So I get no chance
rather to wait. I was waiting 75 minutes on a small room with 50
to 60 other people and we were like breathing to each others hindhead
in single file design. At last my time came and I have chance to
go over the one of two serving widows. With no words, even with not
a covert glance the lady on the other side gave me my passport.
After I have get back my passport I asked to the lady: - Do you thing
this is right to call over 50 people to this
small room on the exactly same time and keep waiting them for over an
hour? The answer was even ruder I ever get - it was - YES!
Can you imagine that? Just one single word - YES!
I say: No you are not right, you need better to split the time in
between. The lady pointed the finger towards me and says exactly the
following: You thing you may come here and talk to me in such a way?
You have to read on the walls!
I told her that she needs to watch after her fingers instead of my
way to saying tings and asked how I can complain regarding this awful
situation? She told me hardly, even not looking to my side when
she was talking to me, that I can write to Consul. I asked for the
e-mail address and she mumble again something like: "You have to
reed on the walls"
I have not read anything on the walls but wait for a few days to
calm down and thing shell I complain or not. Now I know for sure
that I have to ... for two reasons:
- as a doctor I can say that the environment 50+ people smashed in a
20-foot-square room is not healthy at all
- as a human being I think at German Embassy employers shell pay more
attention in respect of people they are serving for.

This is probably the longest e-mail I have wrote for the last 12 months
or so. Hope it will change the tings for the better.

My Best regards to you,
Smbat Jamalyan, MD; FESC
