same case mentioned by "Angela" :
I am temporary resident in Poland, but am original from Egypt,is it possible to work in Germany? What documents do i need to apply for a german visa and work in Germany, can i apply for the visa from the germany embassy in Poland without travelling back Home?
Regards,
Few times I claimed German citizenship after the grandmother born in Prußen. I even won a Green Card
in the US diversity lottery as German.
Germany however rejects my claims stating that
German citizenship cannot be inherited after mother
if she was married. However both marriage of my grandmother and my mother was under compulsory military
service (under communist Polish Peoples Republic and
under Marshal Joseph Pilsudski regime forcing compulsory draft).
Why contemporary Germany recognizes them for the purpose of loosing German citizenship in the birth line and does not recognize me ?
We need a short time vise to German , what should we take to the embassy?
Thank you .

Hi, I have currently Polish passport and live
in Germany since 2000.
I left to to the US in years 2004-2007 but
was visiting my living place in Germany at least 3 times a year. Despite of full membership of Poland
in the European Union and the freedom of movement
I was denied Arbeitslosegeld II (Hartz IV) in
JobCenter near Münich claiming that nonetheless
considered as "Auslander mit Aufenthaltstitel" and that
as seeking job only I have no right for ABG II.
This is the unemployment benefit of 391 + housing
costs return paid to anyone who is out of any support
for living. It is obvious that none wants it in Germany
without a true need since some German jobs pay that per hour. I was working legally in Germany between
2000-2004 and half of my salary was taken for social
taxes etc. Any similar experiences and what should I do. I have the US PhD not valid in
Poland because of the habilitation and Presidential
nomination for the full professor I can never return to Poland.
