1930's German Consular in Cremorne NSW -INFO required
I grew up in Cremorne in the 50's and I am doing a history of our Guest House.
I remember a Residence in Shellcove Road, Cremorne Dad said it was the German ambassadors residence before the war.
It had engraved on the sandstone Fence the emblem of Germany from 1933 but was covered in bushes when I saw it. Can you confirm what was that residence for . I have an invitation list from 1923 for a party and German Embassy staff were invited in Honour of the US Fleet visit July 1923. Can you assistme.
