My boyfriend is in Pretoria,South Africa. He have been robbed while riding the taxi back to his hotel. These men too his bag that have his wallet and his passport. Now he have no money, no I.D, or passport. Germain Embassy told him that to obtain a replacement of his passport will cost him $2,500.00. Is this true? I checked online and it would cost $135.00 U.S dollars. Please help me understand this situation. Any information would help. Thank-you. Is the German Embassy trying to rip people off knowing that they are stuck in South Africa? Please post your comments on here. I will be checking for any post that will help me out.
