My son's passport expired in October.
He is attending school in Eugene.

Great Service - Thank You!
Thank you for your great service today, German Honorary Consulate! I came in to get a new passport. My old one is about to run out. I am grateful I could go to the office right here in downtown Portland. Great location, easy to find, friendly personal! Snow and rain threatened to get in the way of my appointment. However, people in the Consulate were very friendly and accommodating. Once I got there my application was done in no time. I realize I need to wait for roughly 3 months until the passport gets here, but this is the process in today's world. Simply going downtown sure beats having to fly all the way to San Francisco!!! Please stay and don't go anywhere, we need you here!! Many thanks and all the best, Maria S.

emmigrate to Germany
I am a UK citizen and want to emmigrate to Germany to spend my last days with my German aunt. I lived in Germany as a child and my late mother was born in Germany. I am a permanent resident of the USA and a US military combat veteran. I am retired and collecting US social security.I have a valid UK passport. What are the requirements needed to do this ?

Gunther Hoffman
I am looking for Gunther Hoffman, who imigrated from Germany to Canada. He lived in the City of Regina, Province of Sask. and attended Balfour Tech High School -until 1961

I was a school chum of his - but lost contact when Gunther & his family moved to Oregon.

Question: Do you know how I can get in contact with him?

Thanks harbour@accesscomm.ca

Passport
Can any one tell what I need to do to get my German Passport re-newed? My passport expired in March of this year and I am thinking about going back to Berlin some time this year. I have been told that I need to go to San Francisco, CA to get this taken care of. That can't be true. Can it?
Thank you
