if you have a schengen visa and you need to enter germany 8 days earlier than it starts can you stil enter on Australian passport only?

Bilateral Waiver Agreement - Schengen Zone
Hi,

I have found some information the Bilateral Agreement between Germany and Australia which allows me to enter Germany for an extended period of time not regarding my time spent in other countries in the Schengen Zone. I really want to confirm this by an official body as I plan on leaving Germany on the German-Austrian border and as far as I know, borders have been closed between so I want to make sure I have evidence that Ii have stayed in Germany legally.
