Culture appreciation
I am currently a linguistic student at the Univeristy of Zambia..i would really like to add German to my languages seeing that it is currently being offered by the language centre at the aforementioned institution and i generally have interest in it. I find it fascinating! However, i was always think knowing about a culture is equally important before the actual acquisition of the language. True to say language is part of culture but i would like to find out more such as the history and even German food. I am not just sure how to go about that.

BEWARE " FACE BOOK SCAM-Mrs Viictoria Merkel & Godswill Gabi"
I got a mail on face book from a Mrs Victoria Bernard whose Late husband had worked in Germany Embassy Togo up to 2006 when he died.she requested me to contact her lawyer Barrister Godswill Gabi to help me receive a sum of 12.5m$ of there serving as a donation to be used to build orphanages, help people with HIV/Aids ,Vulnarables Etc.
Contacted him & he requested for my I'd & bank details. Later received a mail from Voila Bank requesting me to send a sum of 1750$ as Account Re activation fee.
I instructed them to contact the lawyer who had detail to the Account to pay & recover his money after Account is reactivated.
He called me to ask why he had to pay on my behalf, but just told him I will get back to him. Its a scam no doubt about it.
