I am the founder of Our Community Need Uganda - OCONE currently work with forgotten children and widows in Bukedea District in Uganda. We would like the Embassy to help donate for us office equipment, furniture, material and transport to improve our efficiency to deliver service to our target clients. We would like the Embassy to link us with German people to help bring support to children here who need food, shelter, clothing, healthcare, education and other basic needs and to empower widows economically to care for the orphans. Funding needed will go towards the forgotten children, widows and putting key resources with community needs today and tomorrow. I would like to ask for support from your embassy geared towards improving health infrastructure to some private not for profit organizations in Karamoja. I work as a monitoring and evaluation officer with Church Of Uganda North Karamoja Diocese based in Kotido office. We are involved in many projects within North Karamoja sub region more especially on livelihoods(food and Nutrition security) and health. We are currently seeking for donor support to help set up an Outpatient Department or a lab or a general ward to suit the ever increasing population who prefer our services from other health providers. This has made it difficult for our facility to cope up with the ever increasing numbers of clients and patients being the first ever clinic set in North Karamoja by the then donors and missionaries. Please support of any kind will highly be appreciated in our efforts to serve this communities which have suffered a lot of set backs when it comes to education health and so forth.
