PROVISIONAL ORGANIZATION PROFILE
INTRODUCTION.
Save the Forest South Sudan on and desert encroachment, drop in the watershed, distortion of biodiversity and ecosystem, and above all extinction of endangered tree and shrub species.
We are committed and dedicated to a service that will protect the natural as well as artificial forest from total depletion.
OUR VISION: Save the Forest for future benefit.
OUR MISSION: Sustainable use of forest resources without creating negative effects on the environment.
OBJECTIVES:
1. To sensitize and create community awareness about the importance of tree and forest resources in the sustainable use of the natural resource base.
2. To promote forest conservation in order to benefit future generations.
3. To channel greater forest resource through management benefits to the local communities.
4. To establish tree nurseries to encourage agroforestry among the local farmers.
MANAGEMENT BOARD:
Save the Forest Organization is at the initiation stage and it has a viable Board of Directors from all specializations which will oversee activities on the ground to be implemented by technical staff recruited on the basis of their merits.
