I am writing to ask for your financial assistance in providing travel, accommodation and African Youth Mainstreaming Roundtable funding scheduled to take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 15 to 18 October 2018 so that I may attend the First African Youth Mainstreaming Roundtable on the theme Effective Convergence for Economic, Governance and Security Development of Africa Gap Bridging through Youth Inclusion in consonance with the African Union Theme for 2017 and 2018, Harnessing the Demographic Dividend through Investment in Youth and Winning the Fight against Corruption: A Sustainable Path to Africas Transformation. Besides debating critical issues related to the African Union's theme for the year 2017, 2018 and beyond, the event will also feature a special Youth Ministerial Room, which will be a platform for both bilateral and youth interactions with invited Ministers, Ambassadors of AU member countries in Ethiopia, diplomats and other public officials of similar stature to explore prospects and opportunities in Promoting Mainstreaming, Sustainable Impacts; Participation in Governance and Political processes for Appropriate Channeling of Investments in Youth. The engagement is developed on the quest for Africa socioeconomic Integration and formation of formidable single global partnership, for the crystallization of the African Single Agenda of shared vision, common destiny and unified prosperity, which is a major flagship programe of the African Union ambitious Agenda 2063. As key drivers of the African Union Agenda 2063, the October 15-18, 2018 AYM-Roundtable is aimed at drawing stakeholders from the Africa Union Commission (Peace and Security, Trade and Industry, Social Affairs, Human Resources, Science and Technology) and the Private sector to jointly assess the potentials, relevance and comparative advantages of Africas young demography. During the 3-days AYM-Roundtable on the implementation of the African Unions existing and present protocols; with the central theme focusing on Effective Convergence for Economic, Governance and Security Development of Africa Gap Bridging through Youth Inclusion"; EXPECTED OUTCOME young people including women will lead the process in accelerating the various African Union Agenda, decade plans, protocols, roadmaps and frameworks. That the AYMR will become a spring board for total engagement of African organized private sector through social inclusion principles. That the building of a prosperous Africa by Africans led investments and innovations be driven by a new think and actions of young Africans who are agents of transformation. My invitation is due to the fact that I am a representatives of the ministry of Youth, labor and trade/industry in AU member states, I will be expecting your positive reply to me to confirm for my invitation within the shortest possible time.
The cost for me to attend the roundtable will place a significant financial burden on myself. The detailed costs to attending the First African Youth Mainstreaming Roundtable are attached
